Purpose of Console

For Champions, who often support multiple people at once, Console allows you to track the progress that each person makes towards their goals. Console provides a place to create a growth relationship with growees, recommend To-Dos, track progress on recommendations, and provide timely responses to each person.

 

Who is Console designed for?

Console is used by Champions—coaches, mentors, teachers—to review and manage the people they're helping to grow.

 

Console is the area that displays growees' progress towards their recommendations. As a Champion sees how much progress growees have made, the Champion can reach out, encourage, and hold them accountable to their To-Dos.

 

What is a growth relationship?

A growth relationship is a link between two people. One person (the Champion) helps another person (the growee) to grow. A growth relationship begins when a Champion member recommends a To-Do to someone from Console, and the relationship continues through additional recommendations and messaging.

 

Growth relationships only allow a Champion to track the progress of growees they are specifically responsible for growing, rather than all of the people connected to the Champion.

Accessing Console

Web

  1. Log in to polymer.gloo.us
  2. Click your Profile icon
  3. Click a Champion from the list to switch to that Champion perspective
  4. Land on Console (can be accessed by clicking Console from the top navigation in the Champion perspective as well)

iOS/Android app

  1. Log in to the app
  2. From the bottom navigation, tap your Profile icon
  3. Tap the dropdown arrow in the top left
  4. Tap a Champion from the list to switch to that Champion perspective

 


Console Anatomy

Console is divided into two tabs:

  • Updates help you know where to focus your attention at-a-glance.
  • My Users allows you to see a list of all of the growees you're growing.

 

Updates

Updates make it easy for you to see when a growee completes a To-Do, and when a growee might need additional support to complete their To-Dos. Priority Cards and Progress Updates suggest actions for you to take, based on the progress of each To-Do you've recommended. You can follow these suggestions to provide encouragement, track progress, and send a Direct Message someone.

 

Priority Cards

Priority Cards are color-coded cards that surface in Console. These cards are tied to To-Dos with impending due dates. These cards help you quickly see the progress on recommended To-Dos .

  • Green cards appear when someone has fully completed their recommended content.
  • Yellow cards appear when someone has completed less than 50% of recommended content that is due in less than 4 days.
  • Red cards appear when someone has completed 0% of recommended content that is due in less than 2 days.

 

When you receive a Priority card, you can organize and use them in the following ways:

  • See more details and take action
    • On web: click on the Priority Card to see a more detailed view of the recommendation and take action.
    • On mobile: tap on the Priority Card to see a more detailed view of the recommendation and take action.
  • Follow up later
    • On mobile: swipe right on a Priority Card to save a card to follow up later.
  • Dismiss a card
    • On web: click the X in the top right corner.
    • On mobile: swipe left on a Priority Card to delete the card.

 

Note: Yellow and Red Priority Cards will not appear within 24 hours of recommending the To-Do, in order to provide an opportunity to begin the task.

 

Progress Updates

Progress Updates appear when activity (or lack thereof) occurs for To-Dos that do not have due dates. Progress Updates surface as a color-coded list found just below the Priority Cards.

  • Green updates indicate someone has started or completed their recommended content.
  • Yellow updates mean no progress is made within 24 days of recommending the To-Do.
  • Red updates show that no progress is made within 28 days of recommending the To-Do.

 

When a Progress Update surfaces, you can:

  • See more details and take action
    • On web: click on the Progress Update to see a more detailed view of the recommendation and take action.
    • On mobile: tap on the Progress Update to see a more detailed view of the recommendation and take action.
  • Take action or dismiss the update
    • On web: hover over the 3 stacked dots to the right of the Progress Update.
    • On mobile: swipe left on the Progress Update.

 


My Users

My Users shows the list of the growees you're growing. My Users acts as a hub for you to keep track of every growee you're growing, as well as recommend new To-Dos to people connected to the Champion.

 

If you tap on a specific growee's name, you'll see:

  • A To-Do summary page containing every active and complete To-Do recommended to that growee.
    • Tapping on a To-Do will display a detailed view of the To-Do, including the content assigned, the date it was assigned, and the progress made.
  • A button to message the growee.
  • A button to create a new To-Do. (See below to learn how to create a new To-Do.)

 

Note: The My Users tab is not yet available on Web but is coming soon!

 

 

Recommending To-Dos

Web

  1. Follow the steps above to access Console on web
  2. Click the +, found to the right above the Progress Updates section
    • Search for the person (or people) to recommend the To-Do to
    • Click the Add button in the bottom right corner
  3. Configure the To-Do
    • Click Add Another To-Do
    • Set a Name for the To-Do (this is seen by the recipient)
    • Set a Description (optional)
    • Configure the To-Do with either Content or a Link (optional)
    • Add a Due Date (optional)
    • Click the Add button in the bottom right corner
  4. Repeat step 3 to configure additional To-Dos
  5. In the "Recommend As" section, click to select who will be displayed as recommending the To-Do(s)
    • Selecting an Agent Profile will create a Growth Relationship between you and the person (or people) who receive the To-Do(s)
  6. Click the Send button

iOS/Android app

  1. Follow the steps above to access My Users on the app
  2. Tap My Users tab
  3. If the Person/People do not appear in the list: 
    • Search for and tap to select the person (or people) to recommend the To-Do to
    • Tap the Add # Person/People button at the bottom
  4. In the My Users list, tap on the person receiving the To-Do
  5. Tap Create To-Do
  6. Configure the To-Do
    • Set a Name for the To-Do (this is seen by the recipient)
    • Set a Description (optional)
    • Configure the To-Do with either Content or a Link (optional)
    • Add a Due Date (optional)
    • Tap the Done button at the bottom
  7. To configure additional To-Dos, tap Add Another To-do and repeat Step 6
  8. In the "Recommend as" section, tap to select who will be displayed as recommending the To-Do(s)
    • Selecting an Agent Profile will create a Growth Relationship between you and the person (or people) who receive the To-Do(s)
  9. Tap the Send button at the bottom
